My Wednesday off

So today I had off and Lainey had school and I had a chance to make a few cards so I figured I better get some on here for once.

Daryn and Lainey are also addicted to Super Mario Bros on her DSI so I have also have some time now before I'm going to make chocolate malts like we all need those :)

Dave and Cindy Seif had their baby last night a little early but everyone's ok. She was only 5 lbs something and her name is Sarah Ellen. Dave bowls with Daryn and Cindy works part time at Russells.

I borrowed this stamp from Karen Baker and had this scrap laying around for awhile. Those pink buttons I don't even remember where I got and then its just some choc chip paper and DSP.

This second card was kinda copied from the magazine Card Creations that Karen Baker also let me borrow, thank you.

The pink flower is punched from Martha Stewarts butterfly punch, not sure if you can tell that. The grass and happy easter and Stampin Up sets, the ribbon is tied in the middle with twine not sure you can see that either. Their sample had Happy Mothers Day on but I think I have enough of those cards made already and we usually have Easter at our house so its nice to get going on those.

Today was one of those times where I pull out my little drawer of leftovers and see what I can do with those, its kinda fun and I made 4 other cards today and they were quick and easy.

I don't know if anyone else has these drawers but mine's usually full since alot of times I don't like how the cards turning out so I just quit and throw the pieces in there.

Well today was fun but back to work tomorrow and friday then off for the weekend with NO plans, can't wait to just wing finally!!!!

Grizzly Adams HAD to shave!!!

Yes Dallas was forced to shave the beard when he was out west snowmobiling and so much snow got caught in it there was literally a chunk of ice stuck to his face!!!! First he had to blow dry the ice before he could trim the beard, wish I could have seen that!!
This picture is from Abigail's 5th bday bowling party, Dallas even bowled we were so blessed to get to see him for awhile. I bowled one game and got 207 which was crazy since I haven't bowled in almost a year.
That night was the packers and Falcons playoff game and we watched it at Donna's. Lots of food and friends = lots of fun and they also WON!!!!
This weekend they play the bears on sunday to get into the Superbowl. YAY!!!!
Its getting very very cold out now and they are talking 22 below, YUCK!!!! I have friday off this week cause Lainey doesn't have school for inservice, thats when the real bad cold is coming so I'm so glad we won't have to leave the house. Abigail is coming over for the day and Max is still going to daycare.
I have to work Sat for my weekend and then we have Daryn's Christmas party at Fannies so I had to take Sunday off!! Lainey will be spending the night at my mom's which has actually been awhile. speaking of Daryn he had the dr this week with a CT scan and everything is fine, thank GOD!
This weekend I got a horrible email from Jayne at work saying that Mary's daughter passed away, today was the funeral and we all had a chance to stop over from work. She was only 32 and was getting married this April in Vegas. She came home for the weekend to finish wedding plans and passed out from a blood clot. I guess these are the times that make you realize how very blessed we all are and need to thank god everyday for what we have, I've been doing that a whole lot since Daryn was sick. So for who ever reads this thank you for being in my life and I LOVE YOU!

Packers Playoff WIN!!!!

Today was a big packer party at Donnas, and they WON!!!! To bad this picture is so dark, damn my camera, Lainey is wearing an old time packer hat that looks like the old old helmets, it was Gary Thoma's. There were lots of people and it was potluck so lots of yummy food.
Yesterday Daryn took Lainey to his dads all day to work on flooring in the new addition, I cleaned house and then went to watch Katie and Dawn shoot pool at Degan's. Ended up staying till sometime around 1030 was lots of fun and nice to be out by myself for a change. I thought I was going to go pick up Lainey but I guess she was having fun there with grandpa Don.
Katie ended up getting 2nd place and $35, she was so drunk!!!! Dawn had her boyfriend Dave Murphy come and pick her up cause she was so drunk, what fun!!! All that pool shooting got me in the mood for winter carnival, can't wait. I shot a little with Stevie and we actually won quite a few but we were just playing for fun.
Looking forward to Abigail's 4th bday party next weekend, we're going bowling this year. Can't wait to see Max its been awhile, he just had his first double ear infection. And next sat night another Packer Playoff Potluck game against the Falcons!!!

Max's first Christmas 2010

I know its been awhile since I posted but naturally its been busy, but all the parties are done and time to clean up. I worked New Years Day and the day after Christmas so this year I took some time off during the week and Lainey also had off from school. She spent one day with Aunt Karen and they were very busy, she had fun. This picture is at mom's house and I'll also post the HUGE deer that Jason shot bow hunting on Christmas day.

This was a great Christmas, we tried Betty's house on Christmas Eve after church and that got pretty late. Tori and the Kyle's were home so that was great.

This year at Karlene's we went up friday night and stayed over night to come back sat night, I was in bed all day with the flu crap that I got from Lainey. We could have come home but Lainey was having a good time and doesn't get to see the girls there very often. Lainey had the flu Thursday and I took her in Friday for an ear infection. Her ears were so plugged with wax they had to remove that before they could tell if she even had an infection, takes after her dad I guess.

This year Santa brought a DSI for lainey, she's having fun learning how to use that. Daryn gave me a jewerly amouire, 3 pieces of pottery from the Neillsville collection and 2 scrub tops for the packers and badgers, which I really needed cause the badgers were in the rose bowl this year, but lost. I gave Daryn a trail cam for the woods, which I just had Jason Kuhn order for me and he was completely and happily surprised.
